Make programs open the size you want. Either maximise the program or drag it to
the size you require. Press and hold Ctrl and Shift the click the X to close at the top
right. Next time you open it will remember that size.

Free PC Lessons for Kids
PC Pro is offering parents and teachers a free download of the magazine's 'Give Your Kids The IT Edge' lessons for 5-15 year olds. It features step-by-step tutorials for each of the school key stages, introducing schoolchildren of all ages to "fun" computing challenges, including how to create a blog using the free Edublogs software, which is used by schools across the country. The guide is a PDF that parents and teachers are free to print out and distribute at home or in schools.

Three things you didn't know you can do with a mouse:-
1. Scroll up and down pages. Press and hold the central mouse wheel down. Double headed arrows appear. Keep holding and now when you move the mouse up and down, the page scrolls.
2. Zoom control. Press and hold Ctrl then move mouse up and down to zoom in and out.
